Branding & Motion Design

The brief was to create an opener for 'On the Other Side' program, a news documentary that shows how political and socio-political events affect the lives of individuals and families and proposes to show a legitimatly different perspective, hence the title name. We built a stage where many different events happen in the political, cultural, social, and economic sphere, shown in scenes from an aftermath of a bomb attack, a refugee crisis, parlimentary debates, and a car factory. The main theme of the "other side" is the main trasition shown by the flipping of the stage, which dominates the "story" of the opener. The color palette is based on the brand color and red is the accent in all scenes. The logo of the show, which appears at the end, is designed to aptly highlight the 2 different sides of any topic.
